The Kansas Rowing team competed in the 2024 Big 12 Championship on Sunday at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The Jayhawks accumulated 35 points throughout the races, which earned KU a sixth-place finish.

On a hot Saturday afternoon, No. 24 Texas defeated Kansas 9-7 in the regular season finale at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The win completed a sweep for the Longhorns.

For a second night in a row, No. 24 Texas defeated Kansas in walk-off fashion, tonight by a score of 3-2. Texas scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to win it.

Ben Hartl hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning, but Texas walked it off in the bottom of the ninth for a 5-4 win at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

After earning Big 12 Boat of the Week honors and a decisive 17-5 win against Kansas State in this year's Dillons Sunflower Showdown, the Kansas Rowing team will now head to Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, to compete in the Big 12 Rowing Championship on Sunday, May 19.
